My name is Mike Abate. I am a dedicated, driven, and detail oriented Senior Art Director who won’t stop until I know that the job is the best that it can be. I look to always learn new ways to push myself, not only from my own experiences, but from everyone around me as well.
I am a Senior Art Director who is ready to solve new design problems everyday. I have had the privilege of working with brands such as:
ACE Group, Audi, BIC, Bipartisan Policy Center, Bleacher Report, BMW, bubly, CHUBB, Cisco, CME Group, Conair, Delta Airlines, Dudley-Stephens, Fairfield Craft Ales, Gatorade, Indy Women In Tech, JBL Audio, Liggett Vector Brands, Medtronic, Meijer, Mountain Dew, Mount Southington, Nexium, Octagon, Pepsi, Porsche, Sports Illustrated, Starry, Toyota, US Solar Farms, Volkswagen, Walmart, Wayback Burgers, and YUP. I look forward to growing that list and building client relationships.
I am a currently a Senior Art Director, working at Tracy-Locke.
Born and raised in CT.
ONE. Importance. Good design or bad design will influence how the viewer will take away the content of the piece/product/take away…everything. Design is everywhere around us, so why not make the world look better, one piece at a time?
TWO. Satisfaction. I think that almost every designer would answer the same way. Getting to see the hard work that you put in on a job and see it come to life makes it all worth it when the dust settles.
THREE. Fun. Isn’t that why we all do it?
I graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2014 with my BA in Art and Design with a secondary emphasis in Illustration.
Relentless hard work and a positive attitude. Through hard work and the non-stop pursuit of wanting to be the best, I continue to push myself to always produce the best work possible. I’ve been raised being taught that hard work pays off, and if I set a goal, I’m not going to stop until I meet that goal.
